Our Guild is an established member of The Knitting Guild of America (TKGA).
Dawn Adcock, Professional Knitter, is our guild founder and honorary board member.
The clam shell with ball of yarn has been the Cultured Purls logo since the beginning. While updating the website in 2011 the logo was charted and hand knit by guild member Luz S. It was then photographed and added to our website. Many thanks to talented knitter Luz S.
In 2012 the Guild held a contest to establish a tag-line that would sum up Cultured Purls Knitting Guild. After reviewing numerous submissions the Board decided "Knitting friendships one Purl at a time" best described the Guild. Thanks to Donna H for her winning submission.
